Get the Mugen just because it's Mugen. That's the most ignorant thing I've heard all day. So would you get the Mugen over the Tein even if the Tein performed 100% better? I highly doubt it.
I'm not sure what the Mugen Lowdowns bring to the table in terms of performance and specs, but having had Teins on my Civic for 2 years now, I can assure you that the teins won't let you down. They are some of the most performance oriented coilovers on the market (not to mention Tein owns about 60% of the suspension market in Japan), and I'm almost sure they are way more adjustable than the Mugens. Also Tein is just as much JDM as Mugen is, no seriously! I'd say personally that I'd go with the Tein Flex since they offer a smooth and comfortable ride, but allow for lots of adjustability, including being able to lower your car WITHOUT having to scarifice the actual preload of the springs, by being what's called full length adjustable.

Same here, just more features for the money with Tein.
But post up pics and your opinion on the Mugens when you have them installed. I'm curious to know about them.
