I have a 92 ford escort stick shift. I just had the clutch replaced(less then a year old). I got my car back home after new clutch put in and now it will not start. It will push start. My fuel cut off light came on, but went off. Any suggestions on what it could be? Please help

Check your inertia switch (not sure where it is on a '92). They maybe didn't tighten down you clutch switches so they vibrated loose, now when you try to start, the ignition doesn't know the clutch is pressed....hmm....check your inertia switch (aka fuel cutoff) then proceed to Chevynova's suggestion.

and if that don't work......... starter might be bad. it doesn't take a good starter to push start but it does however take a good one to key start.....
