Bigger injectors?

Okay... gonna run a NOS or NX system... not sure which. I have been told to use bigger injectors with an upgraded ECU. How much bigger of injectors should I use? I believe the stock size on a NA is 295cc??? Should I bump up to a stock TT size? Or bigger? I'm not sure on their (TT) size (350cc or something?). Are the NISMO 555cc overkill? How would running larger injectors of that size affect my car?

all as your gonna need probably is the stock TT injectors which are rated at 370cc. i think the stock N/A are rated at 259cc. i think the stock tt will suffice with plenty to spare.

Yea Twin Turbo Injectors will work just dandy...

Dandy? Haha

555cc injectors wouldnt be overkill... I think it may actually accomidate your fuel system quite well.

Straight-Up overkill would be NISMO/Border Hybrid 1200cc full injection system.

But it comes down to fundage.

Go with TT injectors... See how they do ya', and move from there.

Thanks guyZ... any idea where I can get a good, cheap TT injector set?

probably try the wreckers.
I've gotta call up a few today for the speedo needle/motor thing and a couple O2 sensors, so i'll see what price the injectors go for down here.

You know... I can never find parts for my Z32 in the 'yards out here (California)...

BTW: Will these just bolt on? Do I need a specific year or anything? I would like to get 'em new so I hope they are not expensive...

If you get the whole fuel rail with them, it will most likely be cheaper (the wreckers wwont spend time taking the thing apart) and it will just bolt on. Just take off the intake collector and you'll see exactly what needs to be done.

Oh and remember to number the injector plugs! first time I did this, I forgot and it was a major pain in the arse working out which plugs were for which injectors. This is what happens when you casually have a beer or 5 when working on your car. :)

Oh, i forgot, you will also probably have to get the ecu remapped for the greater flow rates. Ring around a few autoelectricians for options. This time, i would have to agree with broke_as_**** and say while you're there, you might as well get your ecu chipped, or go the whole hog and get complete stand-alone fuel management system (probably not as expensive as you'd think if you dont get Motec)

$220AUD for the 370cc injectors with fuel rail attached from some dodgy wreckers south of sydney. The bloke i was speaking to steals shit from the wreckers he works at, and then sells them from his house for cheaper. At any rate, it works out cheap for me. :)

Let me know if you want them, of course i'd have to add shipping onto it.
