tach problem

how do i take off the cover to the tach? do u just pull on the platic cover untill i pops of to get it off because the screws that are inside got unscrewed some how and i need to take off that plastic cover to get to is without breaking it thanks

the screw on the inside of the guage cluster? the ones near the gas and temp guage? that would piss me off!

shit my dumbass forgot to say that its the 5'' tach i need to know how to take that cover off so if anyone knows how to take that cover off that ould be great thanx

I'm not too sure what you mean by 5" tach, if that's the stock one in the main gauge cluster you have to pop off the top cover, there are 2 little snap covers and 2 screws near the windshield, undo those and the cover should come off, then you can remove the clear plastic in front of the gauges... well that was in my 91 DX, I don't have a stock tach so I put one in myself...
