power inverter question

does everyone just run the plug to the 12v source under the dash or is there another way of running to like the battery or something. i am installing the invertor to run my ps2 and i am new to this multimedia stuff :)

same here...i just hid mine in the back of where the console is so no one could see it. :D

that's what i am going to do, is just hide it behind the console. i don't want that thing stickin out from under my dash!
