hey guys, im new here. planing to stick around for awhile.
i have a question tho.
about an year ago, i had an speeding ticket(over 15mph) in CT.
but i lost the ticket and forgot to pay till this day.
i live in NJ.i kno they hav warrent for my arrest(they sent me court notice but i couldnt make it[too far])
now the questions.
1)how long does the warrent last? i heard like 7 years or so.
2)what should i do? mail them a check for 239(thats the price) w/ my drivers lis number and wat not?
3)IF i do get pulled over in the state of nj, can i get arrested?
thanks in advance.

1. couldn't tell ya...best bet would be to call the PD from a pay phone or something and ask.
2. just go down to the police station and tell em you have an unpaid ticket and pay it...they shouldn't give you too much trouble.
3. well they sure as hell aren't gonna let ya go

If a cop pulls behind you and turns his lights on dont stop, or you be praying the soap is not as slippery as in the movies :P
j/k, yea just call the police station, they can probally even take credit cards over the phone.

Interstate Compacts Regarding Drivers Licenses
The Drivers License Compact require member states to report
tickets received by motorist to the state where they received a
license to drive so as to receive points and get an insurance hike.
Also when a state suspends the license of a driver who is from
out-of-state, the state where the motorist received a license to
drive will also suspend their license.
