Which colours with gold wheels?

I am currently in the process of building the tamiya skyline r34 gtr but i am unsure of which colour to spray it as i am going to put Aoshima 1/24 Volk Racing CE28N 19 inch wheels on it. I have one can of tamiya 100ml TS-47 Chrome Yellow but if i use that i will need at least one more can. I was also thinkin of white but what do you guys think. Ive looked through the skyline meet but keep getting server too busy.

Plans for the skyline include lowering, big SAS gt wing, carbon bonnet, wheels as mentioned and big exhaust.

red would look pretty sick with gold ce's.
also, where did u buy thoses wheels?

Mica Blue-TS-50
Italian Red- TS-8
Possibly British Green- TS-9
Black- TS-14

thats all i can see with the exception of dull red -TS33

Body colors that look good on top of gold wheels are: Blue, red, silver and white IMO. Definitally not: Yellow and Orange. Other colors are possible but wouldn't be my choice.

Great choices so far. Ive got mica blue but only the one can ive seen a 1:1 skyline in the blue and that looked ok. I bought the wheels on ebay US site bought some Racing Hart TypeCR 19inch aswell.

any dark color look great with gold rims. Mica Red would be really great

yellow would definatly not suit gold rims, neither red in my opinion...unless its a dark red

blue, black and white are the one i like the most with gold rims. oh and with green it looks nice too :)

Tamiya Pearl White or Mica Blue are classics...

i would have to agree on the British racing Green that would look killer,
or maybe just a nice black, or black metallic would look good to,
what about doing it all in carbon fiber decal lol?
