Another Cougar Kill

I was driving home the other night from the Lounge after seeing DJ Irene (bad ass), and feeling rather disapointed that on the way in, we hadn't gotten anythgin (I'm with two friends). Well, on the way back, going down 30E, I get a fly by by an Accord, who pulls up next to (with the middle lane splitting them) a silver Cougar (not sure which engine style).

So, thinking I have something, I speed up, pass a van in the middle lane, and slide into the middle lane, and shoot in between them, pulling forward two lengths, and holding. Neither of them seem to jump at the chance, so I accelerate, and pull away. Anyways, a little ways up, I see a set of lights comming up hard behind me, so, I pop it over into the manual mode, and down shift into third. Perfect, right in my best area. Holding it at about 60mph at 3000rpm. The lights pulled up, and I look over, its the Coug.

He looks over, gives me a nod, and counts down. He honks three times, and I gun it. Stay even through third, start to pull in fourth. I pull hard on him, watch him start to drop back. I keep goin, hes still WOT, so am I, and I'm still pullin. Shut down at 125mph, length and a half ahead, and pull back. He flies by, gives me the ricer hazzards and the bird, and keeps on flying down the road. Thats two Cougars on my kill list, one was a nice guy, teh other a dick. Still fun night.

What happened to the good ol days,when people would lose and give you a friendly waive goodbye,then perhaps invite you to the nearest ice cream shop?

just getting off of topic here but wondering how many of you guys get into a race on a roll and somebody honks three times or what ever....I never have......I feel kinda left out.....(crying now)..any ways nice kill on the big cat.....

For me, its about 50/50 being challenged and just getting 'the look'.

I always like a good story about a kill.
