I'm trying to lower my '02 cavy and havin some problems with the front. I got 2 inch drop springs. They dropped the back perfectly, but the front barely dropped at all. So I cut a coil and a half out of the one side, and it didn't make a difference at all!! The car sits exactly like it did before I cut the springs. No matter what I do I can't seem to get the car lower, and it's only sittin 3/4 of an inch lower up front than it was stock while the back is 2 inches lower than stock. Can anybody tell me what's going on???? HELP!!!!

uhhh..... I just lowered my 99 sedan like a month ago and had no problems. Did u put the right springs on where they go...Smaller ones on the back?...Are they good quality springs or some rip off? Someone could have just spray painted his old stock ones...I don't know man...Something might be wrong with your struts in front...couple differnent things...

why would you put the money into a cavelier to lower it? It's a 14 K car NEW?

they are dropzone springs. they're ligit. i'm thinkin maybe the struts are bottoming out but i can't imagine that could happen only an inch lower than stock. i'm glad you think it's funny styleZ. don't be a dick. and chad, um, since you are so far out of touch with customizing cars, let me make you aware that it is hardly expensive to lower a car. educate yourself before wasting our time.

well man... I used dropzone springs myself. I used my stock shox and struts...Stupid idea which i will eventually fix with some aftermarket ones. It has to be your struts..Mine was a real piece of cake. Prolly one of the easiest mods i've ever done. I definitely can tell the difference too...check out my cardomain site and have a look see....

yeah. puttin the springs on was no problem at all. we had a little trouble gettin the cap off on the first front spring we did, but other than that, there was nothing to it. and like i said, the back sits perfectly! but the front barely dropped and is now .5 higher than the back! i just don't know what could possibly be causin that.
