I have a 1999 Mercury Villager with 80,000 miles on it and the van is begining to have Frontend bounce. I'm planning on keeping it a while so I want to put on some REALLY good struts. I can't afford anthing over $150 ea.
Can you help?

Regular old Monroe will do you fine. Check Pepboys and I believe Autozone as they give a lifetime warranty on them. I know for sure about Pep Boys since I bought mine there a while back.

If you want some sweet stuff for it, bilstein and edelbrock make some reallly hot stuff. You'll have to check and see if they have them for your application though.

Performance shocks on a 99 Mercury Villager. Seems like overkill to me. While we are having fun with it we can put in a bigblock and a 4x4 truck frame under it. And maybe we can have fire coming out of the back. Extra Cheesey cool

There are several brand that makes excellent struts; Koni, Öhlins, Sachs, Bilstein and so on, many of these are however very expensive and probably overkill without other modifications and new shock absorbers on all four wheels.
