2: how do i find out where the hell it goes (i don't know my arse from my elbow when it comes to engines)

I think that it will be near the air box or along the air tube to the intake, if you have to put it at the sensor that is.

thats the stupidest thing you could have bought, it wont give you 20 HP and its going to wreck your engine. All it does is make the IAT sensor think more air is coming into the engine than what really is. So the computer dumps more fuel into the engine. That extra fuel isnt going to be burned off like it should cause their isnt enough air, so its gonna sit in the cylinder. When it does this it does something called washing the cylinders. It actually washes the oil off the walls of the cylinders, and with little to no oil on the walls of the cylinder your gonna do tons of damage to your car, maybe even sieze up the engine.
THiS IS A VERY STUPID MOD TO DO, AND I URGE YOU NOT TO DO IT!

WOW, DO I EVER AGREE. I am an ASE certified Master Tech.
One thing that I have learned over the years is that mixture is everything. Too much fuel, washed cyl walls. Not enough fuel, burned pistons. These cars, these days, are designed on a fine line. Go above or below that fine line and you are asking for a large repair bill.
Thanks for being so forward on your post. You know what you are talking about.

clutch492, while intelligent/informed input is always appreciated, in the future, please check the dates on the threads. This one is 2 years old, so I'm going to close it.
Thanks and welcome to AF.
