Ok I have a 94 chevy astro ext w/explorer conv. I knew that my starter was going out but was always able to start my van in the 2-3rd try! Well one nite it started right up no prob. and i thought that was a lil weird but none the less was ok. Well it was sitting there a while running in park and i put it in drive and moved up a little, and then backed up. I was backing up to hook up a 4-wheeler to jump start it. well we got to the end of the drive way and was getting ready to pick up speed and it just died! Key was still on Lights, radio, dash was still lit up! So i tried to start it and when i did is shook as if it was siezing or in convoltions or something! So we put it up in the driveway. It say for a week or 2 and I bought a new starter and installed it. Dont want to start! Everyone says its the fuel pump! Bought one of those! Still Dead! Checked for Striped/burned wires. NONE. Stuck a screwdriver in to something (Forget what its called) To check for spark, Im getting spark! Took off fuel intake line and turned the key and gas FLEW out. So i have spark, working fuel pump, injectors! Im guessing that the fuel is not making it in to the engine to run! How and why? What can i do to fix this? PLEASE EMAIL ME @ [email protected] if you think u can help me! I need a car for college! PLEASE PUT "ASTRO" IN SUBJECT LINE SO I DONT JUNK MAIL IT! THANKS! *~Jimmy~*
