I dont think that publically asking for a race is permitted. Other than that, maybe trying the regional forums can help

I live in CT but I dont have a car so I cant race you. Try the berlin turn pike you should find some people there who want to race.

Yeah "the pike" is the hot place in CT for street racing. I live in CT, but my car is currently being rebuilt, so its not going to be in racing form for another month or so.

Why not search for A) a track and race legally
B) go out on a Friday night and drive around until you find a bunch of cars sitting around with aftermarket parts...follow them
C) How can you not find races on a daily basis? If I only manage to get into 2 races, by the time I get to work, it is a slow day.

CT is a slow state man. Not much goes on. The only two big real street racing places that I know of are the berlin turnpike and Brainard road.. its near a driveshaft place, the name escapes me at the moment. I prefer brainard rd, more like a dragstrip. The pike is just a section of highway with a lot of lights and a lot of stores and a LOT of cops. Pretty much half the time you're on the road you can see flashing lights. Its basically a revenue generator for the towns. I've seen them pull over a lady in a 80s volvo wagon for doin probably 55 in a 50mph zone(I was doing exactly 50mph and she was very slowly passing me). Cops on the pike are absolute DICKS, they'll wait on the side of the road by stop lights and pull anyone over who even comes close to running a red. If you aren't entirely through the intersection by the time the light turns red and a cop is waiting, he'll pull you over. In my experiences, it is not a good place to race, even though thats where everyone is. I went there a couple times when my mustang was running, and I would gun it off the line right until 50mph and stop. I would NEVER speed on that road. Its just a ticket waiting to happen. Brainard rd, on the other hand, is pretty much copless. Every so often they may come by and break it up, but nothing like the pike. And MUCH nicer/faster cars there, real racing cars not rice like you find on the pike. I've seen people trailer their drag cars there and race them. Its serious stuff. Problem with CT is, all the local dragstrips(the very very few of them) are crappy, and I don't know of any that are more than an 1/8th mile. The best one thats fairly nearby is Lebanon in NY, and Lebanon aint to great itself.
