96 Sentra trouble code 94?

My next door neighbor has an early 96 Sentra (manufactured September of 95). His check engine light was on. We were able to extract the trouble code ourselves and clear the code. Trouble is, we are getting a code 94 (9 long flashes and 4 short flashes). The Haynes manual we have and other manuals we checked have no listing for a code 94. Does anyone know what this code means? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
