Does anyone know how to remove the dashboard on the bottom part of our GT (if that makes any sense)? I'd like to get to the wires down there. Will we have to remove the upper part of the dashboard to get down there?

i guess your talking about the drivers side lower dash below the steering column, if thats the case, its very simple, there are a total of four bolts holding it in place

#1 and #2 under the dash, just look under and you'll see them
#3 behind the rear winshield washer buttom, just use a flat head screwdriver to pop it off
#4, behind the side mirror adjustment switch, use a flat head again to pop it off

I must be an idiot because I can't find screws 3 and 4. Are those screws the ones that are holding that one vent-like thing for our legs? Do we have to remove the hood release screws too?

I think what you have to do is to do is pop off the little plastic squares that suround both the mirror controll on the left of the base of the steering wheel and the rear wiper controll on the right of the base of the steering wheel. Then unscrew teh two screwes that this process uncovers.

the bolts are right there after you pop it off, its not a screw, its a bolt, make sure you popped the right ones off, there's one bolts on the right side of the steering wheel and one bolt on the left side
