Switching climate controls

I was wondering if it possibible to change the regular climate controls (and radio controls) out of my Taurus and install the digital climate control??? I dont know if the wiring is the same or not, I cant seem to be able to find a picture of the back of a digital unit. Any help is appreciated!!!

I am wondering this same thing. I am looking to install a tape player and a factory CD changer and would like to know if I can also install the digital climate control with it? Are the plugs compatible? I read somewhere that there might be a climate sensor or something involved.

I have an 02 Taurus SES.

there is ALOT more electronics in the DCC tauri than the rotary control ones. Its doable, but its not a plug-n-play job as the control for the blend doors are completely different.

I am really interested in doing this conversion and would like to know what it will take.

all I know is that someone looked into it a while ago on TCCA and there were a ton of different parts, most of which were located deep inside the dash.
