The AC hasnt been working in my 00 rodeo all year and I finally took it in for service and apparently a rock smashed a hole in my condensor and leaked out all my freon. Anyone ever heard of this??? Does this even sound possible??

Sure, it can happen. The condenser is mounted in front of the radiator and can easily get hit by stuff. The condenser's tubing is not that tough to begin with.
How much did it cost to get repaired?

Have had many of rocks hit the front end over the years of fishing, camping, boating, etc. I've never had anything hit the condenser, knock on wood, however, the last 2yrs I have invested in a $2 front end screen and it seems to repel rocks and bugs very well.
They're usually only good til the end of summer, however, they serve really well. Just wrap it around the whole front of the truck, and hook it in tight to the inside of the front wheel wells.

The condeser cost around 350 canadian installed. If I were to get an original Isuzu unit it would cost me 750. They reciever and dryer are on there way out too so they suggest I do that at around 150. Plus I have to pay my 100 warranty deductable.
Its around 550 plus tax, I know my numbers dont add up somewhere but thats that it is going to be.
