my fuel gauge is giving the wrong reading i should have nearly a full tank but it shows near empty and also wondering when i replace my rotors and everything do i need to remove the calipars?

While you should always check the wiring before replacing any electronic part, the fuel gauge sending unit is probably bad. The sending unit is only available as a Genuine GM replacement part from a Pontiac Dealer. (as far as I know) You'll have to pull off the fuel tank to change it.
You'll have to remove the caliper bolts to change the pads and remove the rotor, but don't have to remove the hose - just don't let the caliper dangle by the hose!!!!!!
