Fujimi New Mini (Mr.Bean Version!) Pix are updated every time

It is definately a great kit.It is hard to believe that Fujimi has produced such a high qulity model.
Gerneally,The fujimi new mini has no fitting problem with the body and everything goes into right scale.Besides, you can see the ride height is resonable therfore no need to be low down.

Originally I don't wanna start this kit as I have tons of in-progess projects, but I really can't resist it anymore when the idea of Mr.bean Mini has come out from my mind. :p :p :p

I 'd like to ask you a question.
Should I make the Mr.bean mini in a racing way,that is put on 19inch rims and with custom body kit, or in a normal Mini way?

I thought Mr. Bean had the old style mini, but i suppose it would look just as good on a new style mini.

If you are doing a Mr. Bean version you should make some crash damage in the back because the guy who plays him ran his Mclaren F1 into the back of a mini at 100+ mph. :iceslolan

I forget: How did he control the pedals when he had the chair on the roof? I remember he put a brick on the accelerator when he was changing in the car.

i kind of put my mini project on hold since i still haven't decided what color i want to paint it ... I wll probably paint the roof top of mine a british flag or something :)

He tied a rope on the both sides of the steer and use a sweep to control the pedal.haha~at the end, it ran into a truck. :biggrin: :biggrin: :iceslolan

I spray the colour today. It's not easy for me to mix a real Mr.Bean colour. I hope my painting skill is getting better this time. :grinno:

Paint job look fine to me.. a litle (and I mean a very litle) orange peel, but that can be fixed with compound and wax

Maybe just a little too yellow, and not enough mustard... Maybe a flat airplaine color like zinchromate with clear coats would have looked closer, but I'm not sure... It dpend of the light...
Anyway, the paint job looks nice, I completely agree with Vric!
A nice alternative for Rowan Atkinson to his damaged McLaren F1!...:lol:

I think everything will be alright when I have put up the tiny lock on the door :lol: The focus of Mr.Bean's Mini is not the colour ,but the lock~In fact ,my painting skill is awful~.~

I didn't paint the whole hood in black, but just the middle part.
The black rims make the mini mean~I hope u like it~ :grinyes:

Which colour should I use for the interior? :confused:

Paint is looking very nice. The interior looks something like a tan color. Hey aren't those spoon colors?

What about a two-tone? black+"flesh" colourr....wooohooo!!

The color looks good on this pic: it really depends of the light...
For the interior, I think I agree with STISNAN... The outside of the car has the color of the outside of a bean, its interior must have the color of the interior of a bean...
