I'm looking at intakes for my "new" 2000 ZX3, and wanted everyone's opinion on what they're running, they're opinion, etc. I was looking at an AEM CAI, was a little turned off by the price, but realize that it's most likely worth it. Thanks for the help!

Head for Volant. Generally considered the best. People have had problems with the filter placement of the AEM long tube. This happens if you intend to lower your car. And even if you use the by-pass, you'll still have issues.
Personally I went a different route. I used a Iceman upper tube modified to go with Pro-M's 70 mass air with a 3 inch filter. Aluminum shield for the filter, feed with the Iceman lower(snorkel).
A cold air system freer flowing than the AEM without the wet filter issues. You can pick up used Icemans cheap.
