2002 Eclipse: Removing head unit

I'm curious if anyone here knows if there is any specific way to remove a 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse head unit. I tried prying it off, but I didn't want to pry too hard b/c I don't want to destroy anything. Is that the correct way to take the stock head unit out? Or is there a different way? Thanks a lot for the responses.

you might wanna ask the folks in eclipse 2000+....you might find more help there, this forum i really for the older eclipses; i.e. 91-99...just a recommendation.
