I'm looking to sell my 91 civic LX. I bought it at $2000, and I'm willing to let it go at $1500. I had a few major problems fixed. I'll post pics in the classified thread later.

I want to buy either a 91 Civic HB, or a 95 Integra...
What are the pro's and cons of buying each? I mean there are the obvious, airbags, hp, etc etc...but what else?

That's quite a difference...

91 Civic HB (last of 4g hatches) depends on what model if there has been swapped engine, etc...
general pros = light, sporty, fun, practical, good mpg
general cons = older, harder to find some important parts, in stock form not meant to be a racecar, etc.

95 integra also depends on what model... LS B18 DOHC no-vtec or GSR B18C DOHC vtec or GS (why bother?) or Type R (got 15-20g's?)

pros - LS? and GSR have sunroofs and all the goodies, I think GSR has more though, nice cars, more of a sports car from factory.

cons - bigger, heavier, not a 4th gen :uhoh:

I can probably list a million things but it all depends on what you want so I won't bother...

pros of a hatchback - fold down seat in the rear for more cargo space, (or more stereo space :naughty: ) lighter, fun to drive, and like what was mentioned power if it had a motor swap, if its an Si there are more options like powersteering and sunroof and shit like that :) and its easier for a motor swap since its mpfi already

cons - age, wear and tear on it, dunno of the p/o covered up and shoddy body work and stuff,

integra pros - faster (stock vs stock) depending on what trim level u get more options,

cons - not a 4th gen hatchback

not impossible just not easy, there are a lot of untouched 4g hb si models in the south, i've seen 2 being sold by my local repair shop, both were in decent shape and un modded. and both were black (i hate i didn't have money for it.) but make sure you get a si cause it will save you some time down the road, mpfi already installed as well as realr stabalizer bar, shich none of the other models have cept the ex. ex is much easier to find if you weren't that set on a hb, personally i'm debating getting an ex in the fuiture.

I'm not sure who you were talking to, but they're all old and rusty. Thats what mine is. Thats what Phat's will be within a year.

I guess there's some places in the states where you guys never use salt on the roads (fuckers) and you can get them non-rusty, but if you're not in one of those areas.. Get something less rusty. Rust can suck my ass.

Honestly...I would take a 95 Integra over a 4g hatch.

or Type R (got 15-20g's?)

Type R's never came out in '95.Type R's only came in '97,2000-20001. Only in America.

Now back to the topic. If you choose the Gsr i would grab that.

For Siz i agree with him. TO the ppl livin in an area where rust is common, sometimes rust are not visible. But when you look under the panels you'll see some detoriating. NOT ALL of them but just for you guys to check out if you haven't done it.

My car has some rust including one visible spot on the rear quarter but since I bought my car from NJ (sat mostly) and I live in the south it hasn't gotten much worse... but you know what? I don't care, I had a fire which toasted my under-coating and put some holes in floor... replaced engine and exhaust. I'm going to love and drive my 90 CRX until the damn floor shreds to nothing, and even then I may still drive it...
