Power Steering Pump

Has anyone else with a a V6 Sedan had problems with your power steering pump. I'm having some trouble and am wondering if its a common thing... thanks in advance

Power streering pump is not common problem on AV6.
what is wrong with your pump?

it makes a high pitched whining sound whenever you turn the steering wheel. By the way, its a 2000 EX

check fluid level and check belt.
air in pump will cause high pitch sound.
loose belt won't make high pitch sound, it'll make squealing, but it wouldn't be bad idea to check condition and tension of it.
