Cam Positions Sensor

I'm in the process of getting all of the parts that i need to do my head gasket and have noticed that i cant find a straight pin for the cam sensor. I called the dealer and he told me that i would need to by the whole cam positionn sensor. Now thats $540. theres got to be another choice. Can any one help

Dealers are a rip off 99.9% of the time, take the CPS to your local nut/bolt/fitting store such as Stafford and have them find it for you. Then go by that dealership and laugh in his face as you say you got it for $2. Either that or scavenge one out of a junkyard MKIII of coarse.
