Need help on 87 Cav and parts to sell

OK all. I bought this 87 Cavalier wagon 2.0 L 4 cylinder from a guy sight unseen. The first time I drove it it would only idle. Step on the gas pedal and it'd about die. Pulled the codes, changed the Throttle Position sensor, plugs and wires and it got better, but still not right.
Put it in gear and floor it and it'll spit and backfire. Slowly throttle it up and once it's over a certain RPM it's fine. It seems worse in gear. It'll start right up, but run rough until you get it over a certain RPM. I don't need the car to be perfect, just need full throttle. It's going to be a race/figure 8 car.
SO on that note if anyone needs ANYTHING from an 87 Cavalier wagon feel free to get a hold of me.
