Nuts...

Alright, first-off, I'm no conspiracy theorist, or anything like that, although I subscribe to the fact that someone in the government, somewhere, knew about 9-11 before it happened. If it was deliberate fudging, or due to the inability of the Federal agencies to relay information to each other, that's for a different thread.

Anyhow, I was watching cable TV tonight, the FX channel in particular, and I watched Enemy of the State, with Will Smith. Here's a little background on the movie: http://movieweb.com/movies/film.php?1935

The character of Thomas Brian Reynolds, played by Jon Voight, is the NSA head-guy, who in turn, authorized the assasination of a Congressman who was against a bill that Mr. Reynolds wanted passed, called the Telecommunications Security and Privacy Act, that weirdly enough, sounded a lot like our real-life Patriot Act.

Anyhow, the thing that struck me the most about the movie is the fact that the birthdate of Mr. Reynolds in the movie is September 11, 1940.

So I did a search on Google for significant events that happened on a 9-11, besides the one we all know and remember, and came-up with this site: http://www.september11news.com/Sept11History.htm

But that's not all.

I searched specifically for events that happened on September 11th, 1940, the birthdate of the character Thomas Brian Reynolds, and I found this: http://www.onwar.com/chrono/1940/sep40/f11sep40.htm

A major attack on a major building...which happened on this date, because this is when Hitler began his operation Seelowe (Invasion of England) (http://www.brainyhistory.com/events/1940/september_11_1940_98936.html).

A year before, on September 11, 1939, is when Iraq and Saudi Arabi declare war against Germany (http://www.brainyhistory.com/events/1939/september_11_1939_97745.html).

Weird, isn't it?

I would need to see the probability of a major event happening on that day. Those are so weakly connected that it may be a coincedence. Otherwise wouldn't they have been just as likely to have used will smith's bday?
