depends on what your swapping it into
OBD1 h22=93-95
OBD2 h22=96-01
pick whichever will suit your needs better.

depending on which h22 you swap, you will need to get the corresponding ecu.
The OBD1 ecu is coded as p13
The OBD2 ecu is coded as p5m
a 93-95 h22 is OBD1, and you can only use an OBD1 ecu on it.
a 96-01 h22 is OBD2, and you initially must use an OBD2 ECU, which tends to detune itself for emissions control; but can be converted to OBD1 if you buy the jumper/harness+OBD1 ECU.

Really...it detunes it self :( So if i buy a 96+ h22 and get the obd1 ecu. I can get a harness that converts it?

how or where in the hell do you find a harness to convert from h22a4 to p13? Because this engine may be an option for my future swap and i dont really wanna deal with the detuning crap or learning to use hondata to get around all that any time real soon.
