I have never sustained any damage to any of my vehicles redlining them. But that's just my own personal experience.

well red lining a car, even though is possible, but just means ur straining and wearing out the parts on your car much faster. If your not going to keep your car for years on end, then rev away!! haha thats just my opinion though, i guess red lining is just taking your engine to its operational limits? Just remember, if ur guna red line it.. make sure your engine is fully warmed up to its normal operating temperature first otherwise you will do damage for the long term!

of course you wont see the damage by one or 2 redline hits. the damage occurs after repeatedly hitting redline many times, but not too many if your getting ideas of 2f2f style redlining, thats a no-no. redlining is wen you push the engine to speeds over the maximum it can take before losing stability if you hold it at that speed. for instance, a 5500 redline means holding the engine at 5500 rpm or above will subject it to unstable conditions ie. blowing parts up.
