Burnouts....

okay..i know i may sound really dumb right now, but i have tried mutilable of times for a good burnout and didnt really get much of one at all. Not that it really matters, but how could i get my manual 2000 camaro to do a better one, or one at all...

v6 3.8 liter or v8 5.7 liter?

more power, cheaper tires or lsd perhaps

if you got a sixer, dont expect much. peg-leg burnouts are all your gonna get, which are cool, just not as cool. if you got a z or ss than you shouldnt have a problem. just pop the clutch at a higher rpm...

Its a sixer..but i figured i got more of a burn out then just a squeek

yeah launch at a higher rpm. what do you normally pop at?

For a normal take off, 1.5-2, but when doing a burn about 3 rpm's

kick that piece up to like 4-5k. the 3.8 puts out maximum torque at 4K so thats a good point to launch if you are looking for maximum smokage...

okay, thats awesome, thank you...so next time when my friend and his little mustange v-6 decides to have a burn out match....lol...But hes a good guy though...

i really gotta stop my auto burnouts lol. my cars gonna fall apart... i want it to last till i can buy one that doesnt have all these little problems...

yeah..also my rack and pinion is going out...or is out should i say. i heard its a complet pain to repair that so im gonna let my warrenty take care of that...yeah...

sounds like youre just worried about droppin it too high, otherwise you already would've tried 4k, right? :-D

if you do a brake stand with tranny fluid on your tires, it'll leave a smoke cloud like you cant imagine :iceslolan and your tires will spin forever
