Progress: '71 Dodge Charger

here's my lastest model i'm working on, one of many.... this is my friend's model, he kinda gave up on modeling so i picked up where he left off and finish it for him.

i went with a set of 20" hoppin hydros. i think they really look bad ass on this car.

i'm planning on painting it chrome yellow (ts-47). keeping it stock with the exception of the rims. more pics to come real soon.

sounds like a cool project man! Im lovin the chrome yellow, cant wait to see it on the charger!

diggin the car my homie turned his into a slot car after we painted it and its bad it looks like a hemi but cant beat my Pro Stock civic hatch slot car

well i've been having trouble with my camera, keeps dying on me. but i was able to recently salvage some of the pics. so here they are.

here's the car, all taped up to paint the fender flares, window seals, door handles, and rear bumper.

instead of the usual black trim, i went with testors chrome.

i got the rims fitted, and it really looks awesome! i have the engine and chasis done, but don't have a camera yet. hopefully tomorrow i'll have more pics up.

This might be the first time I have heard an enzo be compared to a muscle car:lol:

The other car is a 1972 Stingray Corvette made by AMT. This was the worst model that I can ever remember building. Horrible chasis fitment, hood, rims did not fit on the axel and had to be drilled. Aweful....

That looks good!! I like how you taped off for the edges!! What kind of tape are you using?

nice, i am working on that same charger right now, it is a replica for the father of a good friend of mine. he restored it in his sons memory

Looks awsome! I built mine with the 20's from the concord slammer kit and painted it sublime green. :)

Thanks for the comments. The tape I used was just good 'ol masking tape. The cheapest stuff I could find at the local drug store.

Nice charger! It looks pretty much like my charger but i have differed wheels and tires
