hey everyone,
i thought i would post my drawing of a porshce gt2. i'm done with it but the back wheel is a little fishy and i didn't finish the lisence plate. i have no time to fix it but anyways, here it is.
ps. its a little smaller this time.

Its better with it, so if you want to see drawings, you don't get the questions aswell. So, thetonyguy, when you post your drawings, make a thread in the Completed and In-Progress Projects.
As for the drawing, Its really good and the shading's excellent, but the elipses as Bonz said spoil it a bit. The front wheel needs the most work. If you could do that, you would improve the drawing loads.

honestly, if you fix the rims and tires this drawing will dominate. it is beautiful.

oh. and the exhaust openings: the passgr side one is too diminished, even in the perspective foreshortening f/x, to be convincing.
i think the front wheel is closer to true than the rear. the rear is like a bad pancake. front seems to have maybe a bit too much negative camber. i hope i'm using that term correctly.
this frustrates me because you have it in your hands, but the wheels are highly distracting. this again proves how vital the wheels are.

NO Bonz!!! ALL the drawings go in the completed and in progress, ALL the drawing related questions go here. So thetonyguy has got it in the wrong place. Really.... :lol2:

LOL, Every drawing anyone draws, getting it so far?..., goes in the 'completed and in-progress projects'. So this person has got it wrong, OK? Now, every question, or something that isn't a drawing, goes in 'sketching and drawing'. OK? Come on Bonz, you can work it out!!

so then the sketching and drawing forum is a misleading name:
everything that *isn't* a drawing goes in sketching and drawing?! so i am getting it! i was right. the porsche drawing shouldn't be here. nothing should be here.
why not rename this forum, then? i just don't see the logic in "questions and everything that is not a drawing" going into "sketching and drawing." the title is a lie.
certainly, i will heed this counter-intuitive protocol, but it will be something that i will not understand the purpose of.

sketching and drawing doesn't imply posting sketches and drawings. It can imply that, but doesn't have to.
sketching and drawing can imply that you post questions about drawings, or just talking about materials used, or contests relating to sketching and drawing.
completed and in progress projects implies that only drawings go there.
there is a difference, not a big one, but there is a difference.

misleading title. i could escalate this.
but i will not.
i will post anything and everything drawn from now on in the other forum.

tonight i imagined that i turned into a giraffe. i walked to a desert oasis and began to drink until i realized it was the blood of slain zebras. i grew wings and flew away to a distant horizon out of view.
