How do I test Fuel Injectors?

How do I tell if my injectors are bad? I am getting severe hesitation at certain times but other times it's fine. I put in injector cleaner and a full tank last night after changing fuel filter-no luck. Any responses appreciated.

you test them w/ "noid lights" available at peps or az get the haynes manual its like 15$ to walk u thru also u usually can hear them through the end of a screwdiver or mechanics stethascope
other than that u probably can take em to a fuel shop and have them pop tested im not sure if they do that for gasoline injectors but i used to do diesel fuel rebuilding and thats how we tested those
and most likely a bad injector would throw on the check engine light because it would detect misreadings in the o2 sensors and detect misfires

Thanks for the reply. I will try the screwdriver/stethescope thing. I looked last night at removing the injectors & the air intake looks like a real pain in the a@# to remove to get the injectors out! I suppose I'll be listening for nothing?
Also I found another web site that suggested cleaning the injectors by using a table vice, a fuel hose, some fuel injector cleaner and an air compressor while attaching leads to the injectors and the battery to force the cleaner back through the injector (backwards). What do you think?
I'm broke and neccesity is the mother right?

i wouldnt recomend firing those dry
do u have check engine light on?
i used to diagnose and fix my civic w/ a 3$ jumper wire and connector
as being broke at the time made neccesary even fixed my srs(airbag) w/ that
look into if nissan has something similar for self diagnostic
for honda it was called the scs service check connector didnt do research yet for my max being that i still have the b2b warranty on it
i got a 2003 se 2 weeks ago so im not touchin that car at least another year and a half
and like i said the haynes manual will cover most things in your emisions system
auto zone will run an auto tap on it for free in hopes that youll buy the parts u need from them but u dont have to buy them there
