Tachometer

i just got a autometer tachometer and it doesn't have any instructions because i bought it from my friend. i was wondering how you hook it up. the color of the wires are white,red,black and green.

It's different for every car. Your best bet would be to call up Autometer and see if they can send you instructions, or try and find the wiring diagram on the internet. If i remember correctly, the brown and orange?? wires are supposed to be cut to calibrate it for a 4-cylinder. They are probably already cut though.

where is the ignition coil located at. i got the chilton's repair manual but it doesn't say where it's located
