remove/install alternator

How do i remove and install an alternator on my 99 grand am 3.4L se?

Easy job...takes 10 min....Remove neg battery cable...remove electrical conections to alt (x2 -- clip on and bolt on ). Remove drive belt (just loosen torque pulley and pot it off). Remove three bolts holding alt. 1 front 1 rear 1 side.

I Just did this job on same car last week.
as a side bar I would like to state that I replaced alt and my battery and my battery light still comes on...which is why I am searching these forums. Gonna start a thread on this poblem.

Right on, real easy. I bought a powermaster for my car. Stereo was pulling too much juice. Now everything is great.
