B16 head / B20 block... HP/Torque?

Whats a good choice to go with this, for my 93 hatchback??

I was just wondering, and about the distributor ~ does it matter which one someone would go with?

i found this, what do you guys think of the price?
http://www.infinitemotorsports.net/LSVTEC%20or%20B20VTEC%20.0.html
it sounds good to me since i don't have any shops around here to do the work. i would still need the teg axles and i believe another tranny (would a vx tranny work?) but i think i may go this route.

Ah no its ok, looks like a good offer ~ I wouldnt care if I could get the god damn B20 blocks but thats one of the few motors that I dont get (basically anything without VTEC I dont get) sucks! lol...

sparq, you seem to have a bit more knowledge than i, would the 2nd gen b16 head be the way to go for me? i have a 93 Vx. i'd apprecoate the assistance :)

VERY impressive for a NA motor... that motor would be SICK with just a little bit of help from say an 8psi intercooled turbo setup *grins*

my god, that is insane. i'm going with that setup. onder if i'd be better of building my own (with my limited knowledge) or grabbin the already built motor. ugh, decisions

The CRV motor OBVIOUSLY is not made to rev upto like 7600 rpm and crap like the other B series motors... know the limits of the block before you go charting the territory (my dad has a CRV and even though it has no VTEC it hauls... because of the torque ~ and having a "fake" 4 wheel drive system also helps) but personally I would say build your own unless you have no idea what you are doing. checkout this website its got alot of decent info...

sparq, i just ran across this thread
http://www.importreview.com/bb/Forum14/HTML/000274.html

maybe that isn't a good choice? does the 2nd gen b16a head differ at all, or would this still be a prob?

but if you look at the crvtec site, they reccomend the B16b CTR head over the B18c

but then at the bottom they say how the B16a flows better than the B18c, I wonder what one they ar actuall ymeaning to say, maybe both, but they have the B16b , then the B18c, the B16a isnt before the B18c on the reccomended heads, I think at the bottom where ot says the B16a flows better, I think they meant the CTR flows better and acccidentally referred to the SI head.
