Mr Dan Kennedy's Mclaren Drags his Enzo Ferrari More Info

i was looking through some pictures on the forums, and i have come across a photo hosted by Mclaren F1 Guy's photo which seems to be Dan 's Mclaren Vs his Enzo, and it is winning.

so my question is that does any one have any video of such event? more photos? and etc which will be helpful! thanks guys!!!

i have to aggree, cabrio, by the look of the photo, the mclaren is winning, suprising even when the enzo has launch control.

but yes, just these two nemesis head on head, is priceless!!!

the photo seems to be extracted from a video and it is dated of 2003 : very strange.

We wait for McLaren F1 Guy explanations ;)

My explanation is that one day in my inbox I appear to have gotten an e-mail from Dan Kennedy in which he encloses some pictures of his Enzo with his McLaren as well as his H2 and McLaren which both have matching paintjobs. As for this particular drag race, he probably has a video but I did not get it. Of this event, all I got was the one picture posted. I believe I still have the e-mail and if you want I can host all the pics and post them here.

Stratoraptor: Thats as good as it gets. I wish I did, but thats the size the pic was when it was e-mailed to me and over here its really blurry, is it like that anywhere else? All of the pics I posted seem kind of blurry. I dunno. Maybe its my vision. Sorry if they were a let down.

If I had to guess, I'd say the track is Phoenix International Raceway. I've never been there though, so it's hard for me to be certain.

Here's a quote from Mr. Kennedy himself suggesting that it wasn't for sale.

5. The car is NOT for sale. A website was put up over a year and a half ago and I FIANALLY got them to pull it. I stopped reading the emails a year ago and had MANY offers before I did that any sane man would have taken. (Clearly you can't be TOO sane when you own an Orange McLaren)

I was only saying that they (Selldorff & Kennedy) were lucky.

I liked the pic. because even if there are far better and more impressive collections out there, it's still quite rare to see the Enzo and F1 in one shot!

At the moment, it's only speculation that there is a video based on the quality of that photo. It looks a lot like a screengrab from a poor video source to me.

I can imagine that a video like this would be one of those things that sweeps across the internet like a firestorm if it was out there.

Have you seen both cars Phil? Because different cameras and different lighting will do a lot to alter the color as you see it on your monitor. I know you saw the #073 car - that's what brought you here - but I don't recall you ever mentioning having seen #038 anywhere.

If one is true metallic (not gloss) I assure you they will appear very different if placed in same shot.

Dan's color is unique. He owns a patent to it. Its the same color as his H2. As far as the McLaren goes, unfortunately it is back in England being fixed. You know those awful SEMA rims he had on his car...when we went for a ride in the car, the heat + crap rims snapped or twisted (I can't remember) the axle.
