95 eclipse fuel pump

well i have a 95 eclipse that has a problem with the fuel pump,first it had a bad relay i replaced but know when you try to crank the engine it blows the the fusible link i belive its the one near the battery on the fuse box,could it be a bad fuel pump? any ideas will be great

could be the pump or the wiring. I would unplug the fuel pump at the pump itself (see the vfaqs, not sure if they have anything for NTs though) and see if it still blows the link.
