Money on this one..

I know u guys hate when people ask about whos gunna win but im betting money on this one and i dunno i f I should back out or not, im pretty sure of the outcome but i wanna be certain, im racing a Golf GTI with a new ECU, and i think the rest is stock, but how do u think id compare?? Lol all i got is an intake and a ZC engine in my 91'hatch.

what year GTI? 1.8T, vr6? old school? new school?

right now im thinkin it's a newer 1.8T and even if he was stock and he could decently drive his car then he would take you.

ya its a newer one, i gatta ask him his other mods, i only know the one chip that he told me and thats about it, but ya im thinkin ill get smoked, lol

thanks, lol, ya he was juss talkin shit and i wanted to shut him up, but that will have to wait, damn i go t my first car not too long ago about a week ago, and it feels pretty quick, the only other cars ive driven where a pontiac grand am, and a pt cruiser, and my car feels fast, but i cant even begin to imagine how cars pushin 2 or 300hp feels, i gatta stock zc wit intake and that feels fast to me..

just race him for shits and giggles just to find out...

how much faster is teh 1.8t GTI than the 1.8t jetta, cuz i pulled a 2 cars on a 2000 jetta 1.8t. wondering how i would do against a gti.

Soccmid the 00 1.8T Jetta came stock with 150hp I believe the 01's might have had 180hp stock but I do know for sure the 02's had 180hp stock. Ok if you want to race this guy you should wait till he's been driving around town for about an hour and has gotten his car really hot. The stock intercooler on the 1.8T is about the size of someone's forearm so the suffer from heat soak pretty badly. Then get a really good launch on him. However he has a chip probably a GIAC, Revo, or APR stage 1,2, or 3.

well i raced the GTI yesterday, and to my suprise i beat him, well i got the DOHC ZC wit an intake and his is juss the stock GTI wit an aftermarket ECU, dunno wat one, and well we went off the horn and he jumped me, but it was the closest race ive ever been in, he had me at first then he shifted to 2nd and i got ahead of him, then i shifted and he got ahead of me, until i shifted at around 6000 in 3rd cuz he was already in fourth, so at the end i had him by the front bumper, it was fun, lol i heard his turbo the whole time, omg it was badass.

I got beat by a GTI of course it wasnt a clean run but I still lost.
