There probably isn't a 'kit' to do that sort of thing. You'd be looking at lots of custom work to get it done.

Why would you wanna do that? I HATE most conversions like when people turn there prelude to a R34.

i want to do that because i want it to look like a r34 without having to pay the full price of actually buying one since they are so expensive

Well converting an R33 to look like an R34 may cost you just as much, if not more than just buying an R34 outright.

now how the heck does that work?

OMG! If your gonna do that then just get a Prelude and do the R34 conversion to it. You dont have to buy a perfectly good R33 that an a enthusiast that has respect for the R33 could buy. Why do the 2 Fast 2 Furious crowd only give the R34s credit? A R33 is a good car and its VERY close to an R34 (peerformance wise). Dont bastardise the Skyline, bastardise the Prelude. All you want is looks, and if thats the case, then buy the Prelude and make ir into a wannbe lookalike R34. Ricers will respect you, but enthusiasts wont. But I'm sure you only want respect from the ricers. I wish I was in Japan where people respect cars enough not to fu** them.

How does what work? The conversion? If you're as serious as I think you are, it would mean figuring out a way for body panels, doors, headlights, etc from the R34 to match up to the R33. That sort of job is neither easy, nor cheap.

The R34s are also better performers than the R33s.

as far as just the rear end, let's look at what we've got.

I've you've ever torn thru the side of a skyline with e pnumatic cutting wheel like I have then you know that these are no fucking saturn lego cars. Obviously the major appeal of the rear end of the R34 is the small and large tail lights. This deviated from a long generation of two equal size circular red lights next to each other like a corvette.

This is actually why I initially started to like skylines. I loved corvettes (and still do) long before I owned my first skyline. When I moved to japan and I saw these little cars driving around and I saw the tail lights (at night) I said to myself is that a vette in japan? So I followed it and quickly realized it was not. then I was like "what the fuck is that?" and it was a skyline. And I had to have one. May sound stupid but it's the truth.

Once you get an R33 and get some R34 tail lights then I think we can talk more seriously. Do some measuring, side by sides and measuring and then do some more measuring.

oh yeah, i took all 4 of those pictures :-)
