shift knob?

ok..i have a 1994 lx and i can't figure out for the life of me how to get the shift knob off...its automatic by the way......there are no screws or anything so i dunno.....somebody please help me

There's a tab on the back side (facing the radio) that you pull out with a pair of needle nose.

Watch when you are removing the knob that you don't just rip it off. You might break the wires for the OD switch.
