hood pins

ok, i came across a set of brand new, never used hoodpins for 2 bucks off my buddy, (prolly stolen) anywho, do u guys think i should use them for the hell of it? for show purposes?? i think it would look kinda cool to use em :)

Serious. I usually say that when I don't want people to do the things I've done, but this time I mean it, hood pins are seriously ghey. I wouldn't use them if I didn't have to.. I hate them.

Yeah man, I gotta agree with SiZ. Hoodpins are really really ugly. I'd pass on that if I were you.

i'd get them if u need them...orther than that...no...

:werd: If you need them, get them (its safe to on say a CF hood) but if you don't need them...don't bother getting them.

don't get em....i've seen at least 2 hoods fly up and smash windshields with them.

well what i would do it keep ur hood latch and get the hood pins (if you really want em) but not on ur hood dude. Youve worked too hard on ur hood to go and drill some holes in it.

well it seems everyones against them so i guess i wont do them, i'm thinkin of getting a fiberglass hood tho in the future or maybe see if i can get a custom carbon fibre one made :) i just figured i couldnt pass up a deal of 2 bucks for them lol

You can always sell them for like $10 and put gas in your car with the profit or buy a sixer :thumbsup:

Phat, what about your mean-ass bad-boy hood? I guess fiberglass is lighter though. Another thing I noticed about 4th gen. hatches/crxes is that the hoods are smaller. Ever lift a 94+ teg hood? Like twice the weight of ours...

yea well if i get a custom hood done its gonna be a dohc ZC hood with the badboy mixed in, i think it would look pretty sweet, but i thought the hoodpins would look good against the colour of the car :)
