1996 jETTA SUNROOF MALFUNCTIONING

Guys I am having problems with my Jetta Wolfburg edition's sunroof. It stopped working and duno whether its the fuse or the motor thats malfunctioning. Can you suggest which fuse (number) should I check? Or what are the alternatives to fixing my problem other than spending $500?

I'm not sure that a fuse is the problem, but it's definitely worth a try to check. I wish I could tell you which number, but I can't seem to find any information on which fuse number could be for the sunroof. Your best bet, as much of a pain as it is, would be to check each fuse and see which one has blown, then replace it.

I read in the manual that if you pop off the light switch there is a small crank you can use to close and open it with mine is a 97 GL
