random miata questions...

hey all. i have some questions, and they'll sound sorta...newbish, and for that im sorry but anyways, here i go...

1)Is the miata FF or FR?

2)if FR how well do they "drift?"

3)What's the base hp?

4)what's their potential...

5) how would it do for a first sports car...?

Any help would be appreciated...thx...

1. All Miatas are rear wheel drive

2. They drift as well as any RWD, though power is not high in stock form

3. 1.8 liter engine: 140 hp; Mazdaspeed Turbo: around 170 hp

4. In the mid 200's with aftermarket turbocharging

5. It's one the best sports cars for the money.

you gotta know this car is almost as light as my first gen rx-7 (wich is arround 2400 lbs) and it has one of the best Aftermarket suspension setups available to make the car handle like a bee. + its convertible.

almost as light? They are lighter, 2200 lbs!

The stock block can support well over 300 there is a miata that runs like a 10.9 400hp and she says she never opened up the block.

with a nice turbo they can drift well with skill. they get sideways fast but backwards just as fast. becasue they are fairly short.

I just sold mine that I bought modded I loved it but hated giving credit to the guy I bought it from so I sold it. now i'm buying another one and going to mod it myself the right way. :)

i'm only 18 had it for a year love it except can only fit one girl in it when the tops up. :)
