Porsche 917K (moved)

Here's a first attempt at something that was technical yet painterly. I hoped to get some nice giclee prints done for sale but unfortunately Porsche wouldn't let me. I used a blueprint of the chassis found on the net for the basis and added the bodywork and other detail with Photoshop. Ah well. Hope you like it...

that really doesn't look like you drew it...did you use photoshop or did you actually hand draw it.

It wasn't that difficult as all I was doing was working over a blueprint - colouring in if you like. In the absence of having a real 917 lying about to take measurements off I used some blueprints found here...

That's why Porsche wouldn't let me sell the prints - which is fair enough. But arguably if you had access to the car you could produce the exact same blueprint. Ho-hum.
