ive noticed HLJ is usually out of stock on EVERYTHING...
is it just that they dont update their site or is it because they really are out of stock??

Nah. I think they are trying to keep stock low. eg. if you order something frm them then would they order it from the suppliers.
I received my orders to be shipped in a matter of about 2 weeks.

If you're looking for vintage Borrani style wire wheels then there's one set alone that you need....

Well, it's a 1:24th/25th scale rule of thumb - Good wire wheels don't come in plastic.

I have to agree LL's keeper on this one...
yet make a little sidestep!
I think the rims on tamiya's Jaguar and morgan kit look very acceptable and you might also find some exceptions to the rule for this, but mostly the wire rims look quite unrealistic in scale.
You might try to do a thorough blackwash to make them look decent.

Hi!
Try at www.spotmodel.com in Spain. Ramón should have some in stock from MG Models.
Or check with MG Models, Italy, directly:
www.mgmodel.it
I think, their wire wheels are one of the best you can get for Ferraris or the like.
All the best, Marc
