gauge ? for you guys

Would I be able to use the guage cluster from the 88 in my 82? I dont really like the split mph/kmh speedo in my 82 and the 88 has the speedo that goes to 115 but atleast its not the split guage.

The main Q i would have is if the speed o cables are the same. If they are if the speed gage would read correctly. If you did go throught with the swap i would have someone with and acurate speed o to check yours out so you dont get ticket for speeding ...lol that would suck.

yea since your swapping the trans out of the 88 just swap the cluster and speedo cable along with it
