thats what it means for OFF-ROAD USE ONLY. Really though you would have to either try to get away with it or ask the highway patrol they are about the only ones really up on whats legal and whats not.

I dont see why it would be illegal. If anything its safer than your stock seat belts as long as you mount it up correctly.

the very day i pulled the belts off the pillar i got pulled over following jer on the way home. went something like this...

cop: ma'am the reason...
me: what did i do this time?
cop: now ma'am if you hold on a minute i will explaine to you that it is illegal to downgrade your belts. upon stepping up to your car i see you have a racing harness, there is nothing illegal about upgrading. you have yourself a nice day
me: :screwy:

okay so maybe i didn't do one of these :screwy: however, i'm sure the look on my face was along those lines

now when you get pulled over in kentucky don't blame me when you say "but Lady didn't get a ticket in Oregon" and don't get away with it. i highly recomend you consult your State's highway patrol

dont tint em like, me, ive gotten pulled over so many times for it(3% measured on the little cop device), then they give me a ticket for it, like $70 bux here in NY. but whatever.

Well im glad your spelling has improved with the thread.

Now for starters, your being rather ignorant about the laws of your state. Rather then spending a few minutes on google to find your states highway patrol website, i know cali has one, i tried to apply for a job, for information on laws or atleast a station you can visit for information.

Tinting your windows and just blowing it off is just plain childish. Or you could visit a police or highway patrol station, find out the specific laws and maybe even find a way to get it cleared with a special permit or something. But hey, tickets are better then having to work for it right?

that's great in theory except...we utilized the stock mounting locations. so my belts came completely out

ditto, same with mine, just the front and rears on the driver side tho (passenger gets the crappy OEM belt :) )

Maybe he is just lucky. You might get a ticket your first day out with a new tint. And get busted for seat belts and tint.... Just research it man.
