I am going to be in the market for a replacement for my 1996 S-series Blazer.
This will be my everyday vehicle so it has to drive comfortably and it has to be able to comfortably tow a Lund 1775 Pro V Aluminum boat pkg weighing about 2500-3000 lbs. I have been in a new Silverado but I have not driven either vehicle. I am looking for comment on the trailblazer by owners only that tow a boat with it. Looking for good and bad things.
Thanks,
Gregg

I have a 2002 TB with which I tow regularly (Boat approx. 3800lbs full, travel trailer approx. 5800lbs) without out problems. I have been really impressed with how my truck holds gear and speed going over mountains.
In fact, my friend had a '98 Chevy 1500 Ext. Cab with the 5.7L, and bought an Envoy with the same drivetrain as mine. He said the Envoy tows every bit as well--if not better--as his Silverado did, plus it rides more comfortably.
