blue smoke

I have oil leaking into the intake manifold and out to the cold air filter. There is also blue smoke from the exhaust, primarily when I am pushing on the throttle.

What could cause this problem? It is eating lots of oil.

Maybe the valve seal or one (or more) of the piston ring(s)? How can I tell?
