Air Bag Light

Hi everyone, Ok heres my problem...my 1998 Cav Z24 runs lik shit all the time...i mean like every Friday like clock work somthing new goes wrong...anyways last friday i was drivin around and my air bag light came on and it hasnt gone off and we reset the computer and disconnected the battery...but still it it wont go off...PLEASE HELP.......we cant figure it out and our mechanic cant either.....any ideas...let me know

I had the same problem with my 1999 cavalier but with mine the parking brake light would come on constantly and not shut off. I took it to the mechanic 4 times and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. Then they noticed the ignition switch was bad and the wires going to the computer were bad so they replaced those two and the light quit coming on. Weird huh?
